We currently have 3 vacancies.  These are for an Intervention Teacher, a Teaching Assistant/Wraparound care Assistant and a MDSA.  Please scroll down for further information on each vacancy and to download the application form.

Part time Intervention Teacher (Temporary contract)

We are looking to recruit an experienced teacher to provide booster lessons in literacy and numeracy for children identified as needing additional support.  The teacher will be planning and delivering intervention to help pupils achieve accelerated progress to realise their attainment expectations. 

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity and would suit an experienced teacher.  The successful candidate will be:

  • An excellent practitioner who has high expectations for every child to achieve.
  • Lively, self motivated and prepared to play a full role as a member of a strong committed team.
  • An excellent communicator who can inspire and motivate children to reach their full potential.
  • Positive, forward looking with a sense of humour.

Experience of teaching different year groups would be an advantage as our intervention groups cover all ages.

Our school serves the local village and nearby military base. Teamwork is highly valued as is the ability to quickly establish good relationships with the children.    

Our happy and successful school has a positive ethos and provides support for new members of staff. We are in a lovely part of N.W. Wiltshire, close to junction 17 on the M4.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic person to join our team of Teaching Assistants and Wraparound Care Assistants. 

The successful candidate will be:

  • Flexible and patient with high expectations for every child to achieve.
  • Lively, self-motivated and prepared to play a full role as a member of a strong committed team.
  • Able to use their initiative as well as take direction.
  • Enthusiastic, positive and forward looking with a sense of humour.

The role includes supporting children in class with their learning but also providing fun activities for children attending our after school care facility.

MDSA (Midday Support Assistant) 

We are looking to recruit an MDSA to join our friendly team as soon as possible.  The contract is for 5 hours per week, term time only (12.00-1.00pm Monday to Friday).   Duties will include engaging and leading our pupils in games on the playground, supervising pupils whilst eating and helping to clear the hall after use. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, friendly and reliable.  We are looking for a caring person who would be excited about working with our pupils to make their lunchtime experience, happy, healthy, safe and fun.  A team player is essential.

Although previous experience is desirable, it is not essential.
