Clerk to the Governors
Are you interested in supporting our school? Do you have basic administrative skills, good writing ability and an eye for detail? Would you like to gain new skills in a flexible, varied and interesting role? We have a vacancy for a Clerk to the Governing Body.
The role of the Clerk is central to the smooth running of the Governing Body. Responsibilities include: preparation of meeting agendas; attending Governing Body meetings, taking and distributing accurate minutes; maintaining the register of governors’ business interests; and providing administrative support to the Governing Body.
The post is part time, covering 6 meetings per year on Monday evenings. Training is available and we expect the Clerk to attend training events and Area Clerks meetings organised by Wiltshire Council.
Hours per annum: 98
Salary range: £1,119 to £1,262 depending on experience.
