SIAM's Inspection
As a Church of England school, we had our SIAM's (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) in March 2016. We were delighted to achieve `Outstanding' in all gradings (see report below).
Extracts from our outstanding SIAM's report include;
`Children say they love school and acknowledge that `everyone needs to be here for each other.''
Parents especially praise the `open door' policy and the family atmosphere between the school and the church. They believe this is endorsed by the very strong values and recognise that the Christian ethos filters throughout the whole school.
They have a high degree of repect for diversity and difference between faiths.
Collective Worship is inspirational and plays an important role in the life of the school.
The Headteacher provides exceptionally effective leadership and is well supported by the senior leadership team and governors.
Governors have a thorough understanding of the school's performance and distinctiveness based on effective self-evaluation resulting in a strong focus on meeting the needs of all children in their care.
Parents have a very positive attitude to Hullavington school believing that, `all schools should be modelled on this one' and confidently stating, `this school gives our children tools for future life.'
