Our Wonderful Nursery
Welcome to Little Hoots, our Nursery Class for children aged 2 to 4 years, where each day is full of new discoveries and fun. Little Hoots Nursery is a maintained nursery which is part of the school. It is led by a qualified teacher and overseen by our Early Years Lead, a former Local Authority Early Years Advisor. We firmly believe a high quality nursery education will give the children the best start in their school life.
Our Nursery has its own classroom and dedicated outdoor space within the school grounds. As well as having their own space, children in Little Hoots are also able to access the facilities in the main School including the hall, library, field, daily mile track and Forest School areas. The children in Little Hoots love to have the opportunity to chat over the fence with the older children in School and to see older siblings during our outdoor play sessions. Children in Little Hoots learn through playing and exploring, being active and through being encouraged to be creative and critical in their thinking. In Little Hoots we provide a play based curriculum in a stimulating environment that provides for children's individual learning and developmental needs and interests. Please see our Early Years page for details of our Early Years Curriculum and our Little Hoots Class Page to see what we have recently been doing in Nursery.
