Governors Profiles
Justin Stafford
I have two children at the school and have been a Governor since Jan 17. I Chair the curriculum sub-committee which provides oversight of the strategy for how and what the children are taught. I live in Hullavington and work in Corsham where I lead a team responsible for delivering Network services around the world.
Anne Cole
I was appointed as a Parent Governor in September 2017. I am a member of the Curriculum subcommittee and a link governor for Gifted and Talented. I live in the village and two of my three children currently attend the school. I have 13 years teaching experience working in secondary school education, predominately key stage 4 & 5 and I am enjoying the opportunity to apply my skills at primary level.
Dr Lisa Lynch
I have two children at the school and have previously enjoyed the opportunity to be a volunteer; listening to children read and enjoying the outside learning opportunities as a forest school helper. As an Educational Psychologist in private practice I have a keen interest in children’s development, education and learning. I joined the Governors in September 2017 and am a member of the Curriculum subcommittee. I am also link governor for PE and for Art and Design.
Georgina Broom
I was appointed as a Governor at the end of 2017. I am a member of the Finance and Premises subcommittee. My husband is in the Military and I am therefore aware of what it is like to move around every few years and how unsettling and challenging that can be for both parents and children. I am hoping that by being on the Governing body, I can assist with communication between the Military families and the School and ensure that the right support is provided.
Michael Robertson
I was appointed as a Foundation Governor in 2018 and I am currently serving as the Chair of Governors. I have lived in Hullavington with my wife since 2016 having moved from Dorset where I was a governor for a CofE VA primary school. Whilst my children have grown-up, my daughter is now a primary school teacher in Bristol. I am an engineer, working for a major aerospace company in Bristol.
Tamsin Graves
I became a governor in September 2019 coinciding with my daughter starting in reception. I am a doctoral researcher at the University of Exeter, specialising in French and Francophone cinema, and have been teaching in higher education since 2010. My role of governor gives me a valuable opportunity to extend my experience of education into the primary sector. I am from Hullavington originally, and have returned to live here with my husband and two children.
Julian Wain
I joined as a Governor in September 2019 and I have two children at the school. I live in the village and work in the area as an equine veterinary surgeon. I am the link Governor for Art and Design and PE.
